It was truly an honor for Peacock to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at the 2024 Mr. America bodybuilding competition. The audience response was spectacular, and their interest even spilled into the Tropicana later that evening with fans stopping to take photos and chat with the acclaimed host.
The year 2023 ushered in career-expanding opportunities for Peacock, from emceeing a New York City literary event (the Dream Baby Press "Royal Rumble") to making his off-Broadway comedy -- and unexpected singing -- debut in "Depths of Wikipedia." Peacock's shift of focus from ring announcing to acting and singing (while continuing to emcee stage events) was a wise one that already has paid dividends.
There is no better compliment than to hear someone like celebrity "White House Chef" Eric Rush say that Peacock's booming voice at Mr. America 2020 had made him want to rip off his shirt and join the bodybuilder competitors on stage! Rush (l.) is seen here interviewing him along with his co-special-guest "Eric the Trainer" Fleishman (R.I.P.)
