Steve Peacock is
...a voice talent & entertainer, offering services as emcee & spokesman, commercial actor, voice-over artist, singer, and mature athletic-fit model. He has appeared on CBS Sports, Discovery Channel & the Game Show Channel, among other TV, cable & online media.
Peacock's exceptional commercial spokesman & voice-over skills recently were leveraged in a 2-day shoot for an N.J. home-services company. That multi-media marketing campaign, currently in post-production, doubtlessly will heighten his visibility and increase demand for his services.
Peacock sang the Star-Spangled Banner at Ripken Stadium for the Aberdeen IronBirds, a Baltimore Orioles affiliate, and also performed it this year for Pittsburgh Pirates AA team, the Altoona Curve. Among other 2025 performances, he delivered the anthem at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall for the State wrestling championships and separately on the Boardwalk for the AC Half-Marathon.
At Playwright Tavern in NYC's Theater District (as the invited guest singer of resident artist Kurt Decker) as well as at the San Gennaro Feast with Decker and vocalist Eric DeLauro, Peacock wowed audiences with Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and Dean Martin tunes.
Peacock soon returns as "singing emcee" of Mr. America, the iconic bodybuilding competition. His 2024 performance drew accolades, as he delivered both a powerful rendition of the anthem AND showered the newly crowned victor with a rendition of Sinatra's "Winners."
He credits his 2023 off-Broadway debut in "Depths of Wikipedia with Annie Rauwerda" for paving the way for his nascent singing career.
The Bronx-born, Jersey-bred Peacock lives in Ocean County, N.J. triangularly equidistant from hot-spots A.C. Philly & NYC.
Did you know....
Peacock also is the author of Hotel Dick: Harlots, Starlets, Thieves & Sleaze, a memoir about his experience as a hotel detective, or "hotel dick," of the Helmsley Palace in New York City. This 2003 collection of vignettes is still available in book stores and can be purchased online (click action bar below).
A professional writer by trade, Peacock previously was a Washington, D.C.-based journalist during the William J. Clinton- and George W. Bush administrations.
