At the historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Peacock most recently delivered the national anthem for the girls State wrestling championships.
In the past year he also sang at Playwright Tavern in NYC's Theater District (as the invited guest singer of resident artist Kurt Decker) as well as at the San Gennaro Feast with both Decker and Sinatra tribute vocalist Eric DeLauro.
Peacock's 2024 gig at the Tropicana-AC drew accolades, as he not only delivered powerful renditions of the Star-Spangled Banner and Sinatra's "Winners," but did done so while emceeing the Mr. America bodybuilding competition.
He credits his 2023 off-Broadway performance in "The Depths of Wikipedia with Annie Rauwerda" for helping pave the way for his nascent singing career.
The Bronx-born, Jersey-bred Peacock lives in Ocean County, triangularly equidistant from hot-spots A.C. Philly & NYC.
Peacock also is the author of Hotel Dick: Harlots, Starlets, Thieves & Sleaze, a memoir about his experience as a hotel detective, or "hotel dick," of the Helmsley Palace in New York City. This 2003 collection of vignettes is still available in book stores and can be purchased online (click action bar below).
A professional writer by trade, Peacock previously was a Washington, D.C.-based journalist during the William J. Clinton- and George W. Bush administrations.
